I’m thrilled to share that the film The Last Image, directed by Piros Zánkay and featuring my original score, had its world premiere at the 2025 Ortigia Film Festival in Siracusa!
Set in Hungary and led by a powerful performance from Katrine Eichberger, the story follows Annelise — a successful German painter who returns to a village from her past in search of meaning and connection. The film unfolds with quiet emotional depth and visual poetry, and it was presented in the Cinema Women section of the festival — a showcase for fresh and distinctive cinematic voices.
It was an unforgettable experience to hear the music in the open-air Arena Minerva as audiences gathered to meet director Piros Zánkay and actor Levente Molnár after the screening.
